Urology
Urology is a part of health care that deals with diseases of the male and female urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra). It also deals with the male organs that are able to make babies (penis, testes, scrotum, prostate, etc.). Since health problems in these body parts can happen to everyone, urologic health is important. Achieving highest excellence in patient care is our foremost commitment. Fostered by expertise and specialization in all aspects of urological care among our faculty, the department is supplemented by skilled residents, dedicated nursing and OT staff and a support staff devoted to our mission. We aim to stay abreast with the new developments in medical and surgical techniques and technology pertaining to urological care. The department comprises of expert doctors addressing illnesses affecting the kidney, bladder, urethra, prostate and male genitalia in all age groups, independent of the origin or as a cause of the disorder. Talking about urologic conditions can sometimes be uncomfortable. Our physicians and nurses understand the reluctance some people feel about seeking help. A consultation can help you understand your symptoms, which can be the first step to treatment.
